We have been trading since 1983 and carry a large stock of out of print
and scarce publications with an emphasis on British
ceramics but including European, World and Oriental material.
We also carry a wide range of in print titles.
In recent years we have sold several part or complete famous
ceramic library collections.
In 1994 we offered part of the Geoffrey Godden Ceramic Library.
In August 1999 we offered for sale the ceramic library of W.J.Grant-Davidson F.S.A., F.R.S.A, whilst the ceramic collection itself was offered for sale by
Sotheby's in September 1999.
In 2004 we offered further material from the Geoffrey Godden Ceramic Library
In August & September 2006 we offered part of the Terry Lockett ceramic Library
and a smaller third part appears in the November 2006 list.
In 2008 and early 2009 we offered one of the largest private libraries in the UK
the British Ceramic Library property of the late Rowland Williams F.R.C.S, O.B.E.
In September & October this year we offered the Ceramic Library
of the late author David Drakard.
In November 2009 we offered a further portion of the Godden library.
We still give priority to our printed mailing list customers and books from collections will often appear there first.
We offer a research and consultancy service for dealers, auctions houses
publishers and private customers.
We can provide information on the contents of any ceramic book and offer free advice on any ceramic publication based on 25 years dealing in & studying ceramics ( not advice or valuation of ceramic items ) .We have over 2,000 out of print and in print books in stock at any time and over 4,500 sale and exhibition catalogues, magazines, ephemera etc.

We receive numerous Emails requesting information on items of ceramics regarding identification and valuation. We do not offer an identification or valuation service .
Anonymous Emails requesting valuations will be ignored.
We will answer questions on ceramics and books for our buying customers this is one of the benefits of
buying books from us.
We offer regular printed monthly book lists to all customers and a customer wants list for any book or catalogue on ceramic related subjects. There is no obligation to purchase we notify you of the price, condition of an item as and when it comes into stock.
